Sync Leadership is a disabled-led programme exploring Deaf and disabled* leadership, founded in 2008 by Sarah Pickthall and Jo Verrent, two disabled leaders based in the UK.
Combining leadership theory with one-to-one coaching, Sync develops Deaf and disabled leadership in arts, culture, heritage and media. It is particularly important in these changing, challenging times that Deaf, disabled and neuro-divergent voices, experiences and natural leadership skills are acknowledged and developed.
Sync has successfully run face to face programmes in Australia, South Korea and Singapore and the UK. In 2020, Sync re-designed its accessible programmes to run online in French and English and ASL with support from British Council, Canada Council and VibrafusionLab and has continued to do so from 2020 to 2024 with support from Canada Council for the Arts.
